Pinsa comes from the Latin word "PINSERE",
which means to stretch-squeeze.
THE PIZZA ROMANA DIFFERS FROM PIZZA
Because of the mix of flours, PINSA is made with wheat, soy and rice flour.
Pinsa has a higher digestibility index and a stronger smell (fragranza) than the classic dough. In addition, it has a longer rising time than the Pizza, which makes it airy, crispy and soft.
Pinsa Romana is healthier than pizza because it contains less fat
no added sugars and the salt content is only 1.1%.
Pinsa also differs in its shape, oval and not round
